Sean has been shooting since schooldays (started with a borrowed Pentax K1000 from His sister, also a photographer) but only became seriously involved with photography when he returned from living in Eastern Europe.
While overseas he did shoot some non-profit editorial work and also made the big switch from Nikon to Canon.
Today, Sean likes to shoot Stock. "Stock is the 'best of both worlds' industry, that requires creativity and very set guidelines to be successful..."
Currently Sean shoots a lot of Weddings, Stock, Fashion, Fine Art, Travel, Advertising, Sport and actually anything that needs to be shot!
Sean also teaches photography (basic, advanced & other Stock-related courses) and frequently arange "shooting days" for photography clubs and individual groups.

RAW... always RAW... you can get away with JPEG, but we like to be able to work with the best possible quality from the word go... why settle for any less than that?
Always Sport! I love the action and the fast changes that sport events bring.
Current digital technology shows so much more detail in the 35mm format (well, MF and LF too... even worse actually!) that you cannot get away with inferior equipment (like cheaper lenses) or bad make-up on a model. This is not actually a bad thing, but with all that resoluting power and image quality, dust on your lens and sensor has become a HUGE problem. Keeping the system clean is almost impossible, which means quite a bit of photoshop work just to get rid of dustbunnies.
So my biggest problem? dust... that and storage... will there ever be enough?
