Houtbaai, South Africa - 2007 |
|
2 sessions
- Photography 101
- Camera with manual functions
- Tripod if you have one (preferred, but not essential) If you do not have a tripod, DO NOT buy a cheap tripod beforehand. It will be a waste of money as cheaper tripods can in no way give you the stability you need for longer exposures.
- Lenses with larger f/stops (f/1.2, f/1.8 f/2.8) are very handy, but not essential
- Reflectors if you have, but not essential (we will have some on the day that you can use)
During this workshop we will look at natural light portraits, and how to use reflectors to play with light and illuminate subjects according to their settings and personality.
We will also look at matching locations to personalities, and look at complementing colours for creating striking portraits.
- Course Notes
- CD (with Full Colour manual if you want to have your notes in colour, explanatory images and video clips)
- Tea and coffee (during Theory Sessions)
- Models for Shoot
