Hi all,

On friday (11th June 2010) we will be playing with the Profoto D1 Kit at the ODP shop. Luba will be shooting a model in the typical setup she would use for a Commercial Beauty Stock Shoot, using the D1 Profoto Kit.

The shoot is mainly to put the D1's through their paces so that we can write comparitive reviews for the studio guys, but we have decided to open the shoot to the ODP members that would like to see how Luba sets up, directs, and generally work with a model. We will also be testing two softboxes and a medium octo, and if time permits, compare the Profoto Wireless triggers with the Pocketwizard PlussII's

ODP staff and a Profoto rep will also be there to answer any questions about the equipment or setup she is using (and if all works well, she will be shooting tethered to the big Mac so you can see what she is actually shooting before it goes to post)

We will start make-up at about 1pm and shooting at about 2pm

yep, I realised that a bit late, but we have guys flying in from Capetown, so we are locked in for the event.

I am extremely thankful to the ODP's staff and owners! That place just has an amazing vibe, like coming home every time!
